Product Specialist/ QA /Compliance

Summary: The Product Specialist is responsible for investigations, analysis and implementation of recommendations relating to all products manufactured. Specific tasks include: performing product investigations, statistical data analysis of manufacturing/QC processes, assisting product development and assisting with quality assurance functions.Job Duties:
• Perform product development related testing according to project schedules
• Perform statistical analysis on Manufacturing/QA/QC data.
• Perform product support testing to supplement internal and external driven investigations.
• Maintain and perform stability testing according to schedule.
• Perform QC document reviews.
• Perform QA functions-Final Product Release, Incoming Inspection, Review of Equipment Calibration logs.
• Work with RAQA and customers to address customer complaints and technical enquiries.
• Designated trainer and backup resource for QC testing and manufacturing.

Skills:
• An individual should have knowledge of Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to calculate reagent and control requirements for annual usage. The ability to round numbers up and down per training manual is necessary. Ability to calculate the mean, standard deviation, coefficient of variation and other statistical measures as required.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Education & Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university preferred; and one to two years related experience and/or training. MT (ASCP) preferred
