HR Generalist – Recruitment


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manages the recruitment function by sourcing, recruiting, and interviewing applicants and employees to fill vacant positions. Provides feedback to managers regarding above.  Handles all New Hire paperwork requirements.
  • Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures and reporting are in compliance.
  • In coordination with HRIS Specialist, responsible for Affirmative Action Plan and auditing of Affirmative Action Plan.
  • Responsible for meeting Key Performance Standards set by the Company.
  • Generates and maintains records of personnel data such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations, and employee statistics.
  • Responsible for Job Description review and maintenance in coordination with the HR Generalist, Employee Relations and Development.
  • Share responsibility with other members of the team for all training programs related to HR.
  • Responsible for the Applicant Tracking System, Applicant Testing and reference and background check process.
  • Responsible for organizational charts and monthly reporting.
  • Responsible for immigration processes and issues.
  • Access to compensation information is necessary in order to perform the appropriate recruitment functions or other routinely assigned business tasks. The function or duties of this position include protecting and maintaining the privacy of employee personnel records, including compensation information.
  • Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures and programs by interpreting company guidelines.
  • Assists in projects as needed.
  • Backup for administration of learning/training system as well as online learning courses and HR RA/QA training records.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university required;
  • 3 to 5 years related experience;
  • PHR or SPHR preferred.
  • Valid drivers license required.


  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software; Human Resource systems; Internet software; Payroll systems; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
