Sales Analyst and Advertising Expert
Our Client is a Rapidly growing e-commerce business in Northern New Jersey seeking a Sales Analyst and Advertising Expert. The appropriate candidate will play an integral role in client’s future success, you will be a key part of the organization using sales history, seasonal trends, opportunities, and more to forecast sales, inventory needs and advertisement changes. This role is ideal for a candidate who enjoys analyzing data to find issues, make predictions and make changes.
Functions and Tasks:
Use a variety of data sources such as internal/external documents, reviews data, sales data, operational data, PO data, and more to forecast sales and to find issue’s in our sales tactics.
Manage and improve through analysis of our data, our advertising campaigns.
Use data to assess and make suggestions for listing improvements.
Update sales forecast with monthly actuals, re-forecast sales based on performance.
Use sales performance and forecast to assess inventory needs.
Create sales reports with insights for hits, misses, risks, and opportunities.
Prepare annual budgets and reports.
Develop specific reporting and tracking spreadsheets based on the needs of each department.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Experience using data to produce accurate sales projections.
Degree in a related field, such as data analytics, statistics, online advertising, finance or accounting.
Great communication skills, a strong business sense, and data-oriented.
Ability to work efficiently, manage multiple projects, and prioritize responsibilities.
Strong organizational skills
Time management skills
Strong attention to detail
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with strong Excel Skills
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience (preferred)
Minimum of 2 years Sales Analyst and/or online Advertising
Script and/or VBA writing skills (preferred)
Experience with the e-commerce marketplace
